Google: A broken Link and its reporting

Last day while 'crawling' the net I somehow got myself to BlogSearch of Google. For some reason or other I clicked on the Google Home (this is the wrong URL put by Google)This is actually a wrong URL which will simply take you to the Page Not Found (404 Error) Page served on Google servers.

So what exactly is the URL that was supposed to be there.. Here is the answer, the URL was either http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en or the url could have been this (this URL take you to the previous one itself) http://www.google.com/search?hl=en So I send an email to Google telling them about this problem, what did you guess I got in reply.. OK they said I was not allowed to report errors (or anything) directly to them but must use another page and provided a link. I went ther and after taking the link to report "OTHER" problems what I found was the address (email) . Thats fine as long as they don't want to clear it, and I am not desperate enough to tell them more than once.

I thought Google earlier had some web forms to report their site problems.. May be they have removed it due to spam.. But I still send them a mail coz ... I don't know I just like them
