Google advertise for Yahoo Answers..?

I just wanted to share this ad shown by Google Adsense on Hi5. It showed the ad fr Yahoo Answers. It seems like after Google answers became a flop Google came to think about Yahoo Answers as a good solution...lol.

I think some of you may have seen some thing like this before.

Batch Files - when you need to run commands automatically

A Batch file is any file with an extension .bat . The batch file is special in the sense that whatever you enter in a batch file, will be run as Commands in Command Prompt.Create and Edit batch fileSo if you create a file named Batch.bat and type something like DIR(command in DOS for showing all files and directories in current folder) in it and save, the next time you Double Click on it the DOS-Command DIR will be run in Command Prompt. To create a Batch file Right Click and select NEW»Text Document. Rename it with FILENAME.bat and you are done (you must have disabled Hide extensions for known file types in Folder Options ). Now drag it to Notepad and type in the command you want to run, Save it and close. Creating and Editing Batch Files in Windows (Actually you can do this on the text document you make and later change the name also) At first you may seem this as non-useful but there are many parameters in command prompt including if, for etc.. which will make this a whole lot useful.

A Post about shutting down your system after a specified time is coming, this also uses Batch Files and will be published tomorrow.

Googles new Pay Per Action Ads (CPA)

Finally Google has started a Pay Per Action (CPA) Adword program where advertisers can publish their ads on any site on a Cost per Action basis. Currently it is on the beta state. Here is the extract from Adword page
Pay-Per-Action (beta): Pay only for actions that you define.
Increase your advertising reach while paying only for actions that you define. First, you'll create an ad and define the action that you want a user to perform when they visit your site, such as signing up for your newsletter or purchasing a product. Then you'll set the amount that you're willing to pay when this action is completed. Finally, you'll install conversion tracking code on your website so that we can verify when an action has been completed.

Once you've completed these steps, publishers in the Google content network can choose to place your ads on their website. You'll only pay when a user clicks on your ad, visits your site, and completes your desired action.
Previously Adword was CPC based.

If you don't know about CPA it is this simple. Now if you click on an advertisement put on any site the site owner and Google gets money, but by the new CPA advertisers can opt for CPA where Google and Publisher will get money only when the viewer clicks on an Ad go to the site (of advertiser ) and buy something. Its so much like commission system.

Although there already are many CPA site out there it is the first time that Google has come out with the service for Advertisers.
