Prevent Spam, use 10minutemail to signup

Today when I went to Nirmal's blog I came to know about a wonderful service known as 10minutemail. As the name says this site provides you with an e-mail address that will be available only for 10 minutes. Then whats its ues, you might have come across situations when a site will ask you your e-mail address for a service or product and you are like "What if this is a spam?" and thats where 10 minute mail comes to the rescue. I know I don't need to tell any further, you got it right so next time when you are in such a situation don't wait go get a e-mail ID for justs 10 minutes.
Welcome to 10 Minute Mail .

By clicking on the link below, you will be given a temporary e-mail address. Any e-mails sent to that address will show up automatically on the web page. You can read them, click on links, and even reply to them. The e-mail address will expire after 10 minutes.

Why would you use this? Maybe you want to sign up for a site which requires that you provide an e-mail address to send a validation e-mail to. And maybe you don't want to give up your real e-mail address and end up on a bunch of spam lists. This is nice and disposable. And it's free. Enjoy!
A month goes by, and let's see what we have. My server used to get around 200-300 e-mail a day. In the past week it averaged 60,000-70,000 e-mail a day. Virtually all of those were to old (expired) 10minutemail.com accounts. Presumably virtually all spam.

70,000 a day!? This proves that the average person simply CAN'T trust a random site or forum with their real e-mail address. Are there some....
BTW you can extend your e-mail adress in steps of 10 minutes if you need.

Blacken Google, the Google Shadow

Finally the Google Shadow has changed their layout. Seems like Google told them the copyrighted design was not for Childs play. Read more about the layout change of GoogleShadows.
Have any of you heard about GoogleShadow. Google Shadow is actually a site with its home page made with Black Background for the white on real Google. They says that if all the White pages were turned to black 20% of energy used by monitors would be reduced. this actually is true, but it is also true that the Google shadow sucks on looks. the layout could have been better if the search box was a little shorter and the texts smaller.

About the search, you can use Google Shadows to search the web. This will return you the search results you'll get on Google itself, but how. Its this simple the guy used his Adsense site Search feature to make a search engine for Google Shadow. Then he set the result page with a black background, made websearch as the default search mode, removed the radio buttons(round selectors used for choice just like tick-box) that let the user selsct between web search
and domain search (to search www.googleshadow.com). By the way they says that half of the money generated will goto RedCross which is actually good.
